Willie Mae Page age 93, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at her residence in Flower Mound, Texas.

Willie Mae Page was born May 21, 1930 in Calera, Oklahoma to Joe and Rosie Downs. Her early years were spent in Calera where she enjoyed playing basketball and helping on the family farm. She went on to graduate from Achille High School in Achille, Oklahoma. She married Martin Bradford Love and to that union, eight children were born. She later settled in Flower Mound, Texas.

In her adult life, she worked as a non-perishable manager at Safeway/Minyard grocery stores until retiring in 2003. After retiring she had a business in antique merchandise. She especially loved collecting dolls, roosters, and jewelry. She loved cooking for her family on thanksgiving and Christmas. She would always call out "What's your hurry?" when the day was over. Willie was very passionate about the Dallas Mavericks and made sure to never miss a chance to cheer them on.

She is cherished in life by her children Janice Green, Judy Anderson, Dana Collinsworth, Kristy Habern (husband Michael), and Terrie Love. She was blessed with 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Rosie Downs; her brothers JD Downs and Jerry Downs; children Martin Bradford Love Jr., Phyllis Parker, and Mart Bradford Love; and son-in-laws Steve Parker and John Anderson.

Celebration of life will be held at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville, Texas on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 2:00 pm.
