William (Bill) Gordon Lemos of The Colony, TX passed away at the age of 62 on Wednesday, March 27th, 2024 at his home in The Colony.

Bill was born in Sacramento, CA in 1961, moved to San Francisco in 1963 and eventually settled in San Rafael in 1964. Bill went to Glenwood Elementary School, Santa Venetia Jr High School, and completed two years at San Rafael High School before he and his family moved to Dallas when he was 17 where he went to W. T. White High School. Bill had many different jobs over the course of his life, working in distribution, sales, trucking, and most recently at Kuehne & Nagel where he took pride in winning multiple awards for his hard work.

Bill met his wife, Marilyn, in September of 1994 in Dallas, and became a stepfather to Marilyn's 4 children and stepchildren. Bill dedicated his life to his wife, family, and loved ones, and was known for going above and beyond to help them whenever needed. Bill was one of the friendliest souls and could strike up a conversation with anyone, no matter where or who they were, and was always eager to engage in discourse or lend a hand.

Bill is survived by his wife, Marilyn Spence; his four stepchildren, Brandi, Allyson, Melanie, and Cameron; his 6 step-grandchildren, Makenna, Garrek, Cayden, Aria, Ellis, and Sylvia; his parents, Alice and Ben Lemos; and his siblings, Tim Payne & Karleen Koen, Sharon & Bob Pelletier, and Jim Lemos & Lynette Dejean and their daughter Brynn. Bill will be remembered as a hard-working man who gave all of himself to his friends and family.
