William Dale Boenker, 78, of Grand Prairie, passed away on December 23, 2024 in his home. Dale was born in Denton, Texas to Willie Carl Boenker & Audrey Ellen Martin on March 10, 1946. He graduated from Lewisville High School, home of the Fighting Farmers.  He married Joan Victoria Rogers on March 30th, 1968 in Grand Prairie.  He enlisted in the Air-Force and remained in the reserves for six years. He worked as a Draftsman for Texas Instruments for 30 years. He was an avid hunter and loved to fish.

Dale is preceded in death by his mother Audrey Martin, father Willie Carl (better known as Bill Boenker), his sister Dorthy Nell Cade and two nephews Doug Cade and Greg Cade.

Dale is survived by his sister Debbie Adams, son and daughter-in-law William Eric and Lisa Boenker, daughter and son-in-law Lisa Joellen Hanrattie and Christopher Hanrattie.  Dale had 5 grandchildren, Justin Hunter Boenker, Joshua Wayne Boenker, Havyn Chandler Oberkrom, Hudson Cole Hanrattie, and Ella Channing Hanrattie and four great grandchildren Bexley Boenker, Reese Boenker, Ryland Boenker, and Bowen Boenker.  Dale has 5 remaining nephews Rusty Cade, Randy Cade, Terry Cade, Tracy Cade, and Louie Adams and one niece Audrey Adams.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, January 12th at the Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home with Ron Hilliard, officiating.
