William Thomas "Billy" Ginn a beloved husband, father, PawPaw, son, brother, uncle, and
friend passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. Billy was born on February 19, 1970 in
Greenville, SC to Bill and Nelda Ginn. Billy grew up in San Antonio where he proudly attended
Thomas Jefferson High School. In high school, he played basketball, ran track, and was
actively involved in his church youth group. In June of 1983, he met his wife at a church camp
in Ridgecrest, North Carolina. Before they married in January of 1993, he proudly served his
country in the US Navy from 1989-1993 as an Air Traffic Controller on the USS Nicholson
during Operation Desert Storm.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. He is survived by his wife Mandy of
31 years, daughters Meridith Robertson (Blake), Morgan Ruby (Ben), sister Patricia Rabel, and
many nieces and nephews.

Billy deeply loved his family and was most excited about becoming a PawPaw to Clara Ann
Ruby and Hayden Luke Robertson. He loved his church and served faithfully for many years as
a Sunday school teacher in Children's and Youth Ministries. He influenced many young people
with his famous words of wisdom. He was known for his contagious smile, making everyone
laugh as the family comedian, and talking to everyone he came in contact with. His most
favorite activities were shoe shopping with daughters and visiting Triple D restaurants
throughout the United States. He was a mechanic by trade. He worked for Holman Enterprises
as a call center auto technician and peer trainer. Billy will be dearly missed by all who knew
him.

Funeral arrangements will be Wednesday, January 10th at Northview Baptist Church,
Lewisville, TX. The visitation will be at 1pm with the celebration of life service at 2pm.
