We are sad to announce the passing of Wanda Louise Good Shelley of Highland Village, TX, who died peacefully on Tuesday, November 28 at the age of 84.

Wanda, the second youngest of seven, grew up in West Virginia before moving to Washington D.C to start a career with the FBI.  In DC, she met and married the love of her life, Carroll Douglas "Bud" Shelley, and started a family.  While growing their family, Bud and Wanda moved to Tennessee and eventually Texas for Bud's career. Together, they retired in 2002 and enjoyed many years of travel and spending time with family.

Wanda, or Mama (which was her favorite nickname) was a playful, quick-witted woman, who loved her family unconditionally and always sacrificed for the ones she loved. She was the most dedicated, most hardworking, sweetest woman.  She loved God, jigsaw puzzles, tulips, Wheel of Fortune, old Westerns, gardening, and feeding anyone who was hungry - not necessarily in that order.  But her proudest achievement and favorite hobby was spending time with her family - four children, two grandchildren, and one great grandson - whom she shared with her husband of over 60 years, who passed away last year.

She loved us, and we loved her – more than words could measure.  We are so grateful for our time together.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Douglas "Bud" Shelley, her parents Granville & Nellie Good, as well as her four eldest brothers.

Wanda is survived by her children, Doug (Kendra) Shelley, Teresa (Mark) McKinney, David (Deenie) Shelley, and Mickey (Lauren) Shelley; granddaughters, Candice (Eric) Bellis and Abbey (Felipe) Prado; great grandson, Caden Kildebeck; and many loving friends.

Public Viewing will be held Friday, December 8 from 6-8pm.

Public Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 9 at 10am followed by a private burial.

Both public services will be at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville TX.
