Vivien Eldica Clarke was born on February 20, 1936, in St. Michaels, Barbados to Merriam Jordan and Benjamin Sargent. She came to the United States in 1978 and moved to Lewisville, Texas in 2006.

On Tuesday, July 14, 2026, Vivien joined the love of her life, Austin in Heaven at the age of 90. Together they shared 65 years of marriage.

Vivien is preceded in death by her sisters Kathleen Jordan, Elesyn Grazzet and her brother Charles Jordan. Her son Anthony Clarke, her daughter Juliet Clarke and Parents Merriam Jordan and Benjamin Sargent.

She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother affectionately known as Mum. She is survived by her daughter Goldeen Davis and son Chesterfield Clarke. She was also the loving grandmother to Juanita Sampson and four Great grandchildren- Mark Palm Jr, La'Shay, Alexia Bryant and Julian Bryant.

Vivien worked as a Certified Nurse's Aide for 26 years before she retired in 2006. She enjoyed going to the casino, playing scratch offs, enjoying drives and loved eating vanilla ice cream.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a celebration of life on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home, 740 Edmonds Ln, Lewisville, TX 75067 from 11am - 1pm.

Vivien will then be laid to rest at Old Hall Cemetery, 1200 McGee Ln Lewisville, TX 75077 following the funeral service.
