Victoria Marie Coghlan, age 71, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of deep love and a determined spirit that inspired everyone who knew her. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on October 31, 1954. Before planting roots in Texas, her free-spirited nature led her to many places across the country, though her favorite was always the beach in West Palm Beach, Florida.

To know Victoria was to understand that her love was an active, tangible thing. She expressed it best through acts of service and could take on the world with only a bottle of Windex and four sticks of Land O' Lakes butter. Whether she was cleaning your house from top to bottom or cooking one of her many classic dinners, caring for others came naturally to her – and she loved every minute of it. She cherished traditions, especially during the holidays; family gift wrapping nights, preparing elaborate meals, baking her famous handmade sugar cookies, and, most importantly, ensuring her daughters got Easter egg baskets when they were well-into their 20s. An eloquent writer, she found comfort, purpose and expression through writing, blogging, and sharing her thoughts with fellow writers online. A creative soul, she loved all things crafty and spent many hours meticulously creating beautiful, handcrafted jewelry, which she loved gifting to family and friends.

Her proudest achievement and greatest joy was her family, and the love she gave will remain a guiding presence in their lives. She will always be remembered for the good she brought into this world, and her memory will be honored through the traditions and love she left behind.

She is reunited in rest with her father, Wallace Hughes Coghlan and mother, Nancy Payne Coghlan, as well as her brothers, Michael Coghlan, and Mark Anderson.

Her legacy lives on through her surviving family; her daughter, Amber Gatcomb & Caitlin Harney. Her grandsons, Jaime Pennington & Liam Harney. Her son-in-law, Shaun Harney. Her sister, Lisa Petronella and her husband Rick, and their sons Logan and Jordan.

Through life's curveballs, she tackled them all with determination and a passionate heart, facing every chapter with strength, grace & leaning heavily on her faith. She will be deeply missed, but her grit, her laughter, and the beautiful memories she made will remain in our hearts forever.
