Victor C. C. Ortega, 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 28, 2025. He was born in Dallas, Texas on October 25, 1937, to Victor and Frances Correa.

Victor graduated from Crozier Tech High School, and then went on to receive a degree of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at The University of Texas at Arlington.

He served in the Texas National Guard Unit, 49th Armored Division, as well as active duty in the Army.

Victor moved to California where he began working for Pacific Bell as an Electrical Engineer. After more than 25 years, he retired and moved back to his home state of Texas.

Victor enjoyed listening and dancing to folklorico music, so he joined a dance group. He learned to play the trumpet and also the violin so he could participate in congregational music, also singing in the church choir at Living Church of God, where he was a member for many years.

Victor is preceded in death by his parents, Victor, Sr. and Frances, sister Virginia Frances, brother Rudy, brother Nolan, and niece Kimberly. He is survived by his brother, Javier Correa and wife Omega, nephew Javier M. Correa and wife Amanda and their children, niece Valerie and husband David and family, and many great nieces and great nephews. He loved them all!

A graveside service will be held Monday, August 4, 2025, 9:30 am, at Old Hall Cemetery, Lewisville, Texas.
