Sylvia Louise Cayce was born in Lubbock, Texas on May 4, 1947.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Lois McGinty, and her brother Kenneth McGinty.  Her surviving brother is Alton McGinty (of Lubbock, Texas) and surviving sister is Kathleen Reynolds (of Shamrock, TX). She was a baptized believer and very faithful Christian servant of Jesus Christ all her life.

Sylvia met her sweetheart, Richard Cayce, and they married in Plains, Texas on August 21, 1965. They were married 58 wonderful years.

She was a very Godly, loving mother to three children Richard Jr., Clay, and Tanya.  She had seven beautiful grandchildren whom she loved dearly-- Garrett, Morgan, Kayla, Tyler, Collin, Olivia, and Connor.

She transitioned to her heavenly home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 29th, 2023.

The Visitation will be on Monday, December 4, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:30 pm, at the Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home Chapel, 740 S. Edmonds Ln, Lewisville, TX 75067. The Funeral Service is Tuesday, December 5, 2023, 10:00 am, at Lewisville Church of Christ, 901 College Pkwy, Lewisville, TX 75077. The burial will be at the De Leon Cemetery in De Leon, TX.
