Suzanne Tucker "Shu Shu" Henderson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully on May 10, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 9, 1940, in Paris, TX, she was the cherished daughter of Russell Bizzell and Emma Lou Tucker.

She was raised in Cooper, TX and graduated from Cooper High School in 1958, where she was crowned the school's Queen in 1957. She was very active in high school where she was, among other things, the president of Future Homemakers of America (FHA) and a majorette. She met her husband in the 1950s and was married on January 19, 1958. She attended East Texas State University, and shortly thereafter began her family which was her pride and joy. In 1967 she moved to Irving, TX where she raised her family. She opened her own successful business, the Strawberry Patch, in the mid-70s and took great pride in this accomplishment. After her children graduated, she began a career at Bozell Advertising (Temerlin McClain), where she was lovingly thought of as the face of the agency for more than 10 years. She took a break from working in 2001 to turn her attention to helping provide care for her grandson. She returned to the working world after a few years and was an employee of PDS, where not surprisingly, she became the warm, beautiful, smiling face of the company.  She worked at PDS until 2015 when she retired.

In 2014, Suzanne purchased a beautiful home in Carrollton, TX with her son, Craig. Her home was always the center of activity, including entertaining many friends and hosting holiday celebrations, making candy, playing cards and dominos and truthfully games of any kind.  She dearly loved painting, crafting, and sewing where she made beautiful things cherished by so many. Suzanne was an avid traveler and enjoyed visiting nearly every corner of the world many of which were with Craig. A few things that capture the essence of Suzanne include always greeting everyone with a warm, beautiful smile, the color pink, jewelry (especially with "bling"), her Dallas Cowboys, playing fantasy football, and first and foremost her devotion to her family.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Albert Henderson; son, Christopher Don Henderson; parents, Russell and Emma Lou Tucker; and stepmother, Ruth Tucker.

Suzanne is survived by her two loving children, Russell Craig Henderson, and Holli Denise Burlison-Gordon and her husband Chip Gordon; two adored grandsons, Brandon Taylor Burlison and Blake Austin Burlison; and her aunt, Martha Ellen Moody.

The family will have a visitation on May 15, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home located at 740 S Edmonds, Lewisville, TX 75067. A funeral service will be held on May 16, 2024, at 11:00 am at the same location. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at Oak Lawn Cemetery, County Road 1030, Cooper TX, 75432.

Suzanne's light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she loved and touched. May God bless her in eternal peace.
