Susanne Charles Nachazel passed away peacefully on April 26th , 2024 in Valley Ranch, Texas surrounded by her family. Susanne was born in Detroit, Michigan to Stanley and Clara Charles on June 27th, 1963. She graduated Marian High School and went on to graduate from Florida State University with a Bachelors in Economics. She married Jim Nachazel on October 10th, 1992 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. She held a variety of Sales, Marketing and Director-Level positions throughout her career in Michigan, Wisconsin, Florida, and Texas.

Throughout her time in Texas, she was involved in various programs at St. Ann Catholic Church in Coppell, particularly RE, SAY, HSM and the annual Thanksgiving Basket assembly. She was also heavily involved in various PTOs in Coppell ISD and, as an avid supporter of the arts, was a proud member of the Coppell High School Band Boosters and Coppell High School Theatre Boosters. Throughout her life, she particularly loved flowers and gardening and took great care to share that love of flowers, and the joy that they brought, with her family and friends in a multitude of ways.

Susanne is preceded in death by her sister Patricia Charles, her father Stanley Charles, and her mother Clara Charles. Susanne is survived by her husband Jim Nachazel, her children Stephen and Jennifer Nachazel, her sisters Rosanne Acciaioli, Marie Kneale and Michelle Van Alstyne, and her brother Stanley Charles.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am on May 14th, 2024 at St. Ann Catholic Church with one of her favorite priests, Fr. Henry Petter, formerly Pastor of St. Ann Catholic Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Mulkey Mason Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to North Texas Food Bank, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, all of which are charities that held a special place in her heart.

The family of Susanne Nachazel wishes to extend our sincerest thanks to Dr. Narotham Thudi, Dr. Barry Wilcox, Dr. Kamna Kapil, Dana LeBlanc, Donna Barber, Dr. Nicholas Ferraro and all of the staff at Baylor Scott White, as well as Vitas Healthcare for their care, professionalism, and compassion in caring for her. She could not have made it as far as she did without their combined care and efforts, and for that the family is eternally grateful. We would lastly like to thank our families and friends for their unwavering support during her illness.
