Sheila Ann Owen, 58, passed away peacefully on August 12th, 2025, surrounded by loving family. Born on October 7th, 1966, in Lewisville, TX, Sheila was the daughter of Marie and Elmer (Ray) Barrett. She lived most of her life in Lewisville before moving to Prosper in 2020.

Sheila enjoyed being around family and had a sharp wit and steadfast love the people in her life. She was a devoted mother to two children, Niccole and Jeff and her son-in-law, Thiago, as well as a loving wife to John Owen. She had three wonderful grandchildren, Breanna, Braydon, and Isabella (in order by age) and always made sure that each person around her felt loved and cherished.

Sheila was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and friend and was loved immensely by those around her.

Remaining to cherish Sheila's memory are her spouse, John; children, Niccole and Jeff; son-in-law, Thiago; grandchildren, Breanna, Braydon, and Isabella.

A funeral service will be held August 21, 2025, 11:00 am, at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home, 740 S. Edmonds Ln., Lewisville, TX 75067. The visitation is one hour prior to the service. The graveside service will follow at Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville, TX.
