On October 31, 2024, we said goodbye to a remarkable man, Scott Michael Myers, of Highland Village, TX, who left us while bravely recovering from a stroke. Scott fought valiantly and was blessed to spend his final month surrounded by the love of his family, what mattered most in his life.

Scott was born on April 14, 1962, in Flint, Michigan. Scott was the cherished son of Ernest and Jaqueline Myers. While he now rejoins his father, Ernest Hufton Myers, who preceded him to heaven, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those he touched.

FAMILY

Scott leaves behind a close-knit family starting with his wife of 19 years, Dawn Myers, and his Children: Jamie Whitehead (Josh), Heather Reed (Fred), Rachel Myers, and stepchildren Mark Seay, Michael Seay (Stacy), and Amanda Pearce (Paul).

Including: 15 grandchildren, Rylie Reed, Aubrey Pearce, Ryker Whitehead, Eisley Pearce, Stratton Seay, Raylee Whitehead, Scout Seay, Layla Kollay, Leni Kollay, Sadie Seay, Harrison Pearce, Addison Reed, Collin Seay, Attlee Seay and Wyatt Reed.

Along with his loving mother, Jacqueline Myers and his siblings John Myers (Kathy), Lee Ann Bransford (Wayne) and Lisa Schlageter (Mike) and nieces and nephews.

Scott's legacy of love will continue to flourish in the lives of those he adored.

PASSIONS

Scott's passion for family was the cornerstone of his life.

He was our rock, always present when we needed him most, offering unconditional love. He was known for his endless humor and his ability to make everyone feel special.

As "Grandpa Tooter," he created cherished memories and bonds with his grandchildren that will be treasured forever.  Scott also enjoyed riding his Harley and traveling.

WORK

Scott worked as an IT Implementation manager for Verizon Business for eight years until last year when his division was sold to HCL Tech.

Scott also owned Myers Market and Café a small country store and café in Mountain Springs, TX. He found great joy in socializing with customers and forging lasting friendships, always eager to lend a hand or share a laugh. He looked forward to retiring in Mountain Springs and serving the community.
