Sandy Kaye Parker (née Chance), age 82, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2025, in Lewisville, Texas. Born on August 20, 1942, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Sandy lived a life filled with dedication to her family and community.

She enjoyed a fulfilling career with the City of Lewisville as a Code Enforcement Officer, where her commitment to public service left a lasting mark. After retiring in 2002, Sandy continued to be a steady presence for those around her.

Family was the cornerstone of Sandy's life. As a single mother, she raised four children. Instilling in them the values of compassion, hard work and perseverance. Her love knew no bounds, and she gave everything she had so her children could grow with hope and opportunity. She is lovingly remembered by her son Michael Windham and his wife Connie; daughters Brandie Gustafson and her husband Rusty, Kasee Munden, and Mandi Shupe. Known affectionately as "Granny," Sandy was a proud grandmother to Kaylee Munden, Chase Windham, Taylor Munden, Cara Cruce, Rece Gustafson, Caden Shupe, and Colt Shupe. Her joy expanded further with the arrival of her great-grandchildren Greyson and Parker Cruce.

Sandy was preceded in death by her beloved husband Audie Parker; her parents Wilbur and Winifred Chance; and her brother Tommy Chance.
Her love and support created a foundation that continues to strengthen the lives of those she held dear. Sandy's legacy is one of resilience, kindness, and deep familial devotion—qualities that will continue to inspire future generations.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort and peace to those whose lives she touched.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
