Samuel Gillett age 79 passed away peacefully at his home in Lewisville, Texas. He was born on March 14, 1944 in Athens Texas to Fischer Skylar Gillett and Elle Marie Baxter. He was married to Julie Gillett who proceeded him in Death. They had 1 Son Stephen Gillett who still lives in the family home in Lewisville. Sam was in the United States Navy from April 11,1961 to April 12,1967 where he was an Auronautics Engeneer. He then went to work for Vault Aeronautics where he worked on Military Fighter Jets to Airforce One. Worked there until he retired. He enjoyed Hunting and fishing with his wife Julie.

He is survived by his Brother Steve Gillett and Sister in law June Gillett and 2 Half Brothers, and several Niece's and Nephew's.

Funeral services will be held on Monday December 11, 2023 at Mulkey-Mason Funeral home in Lewisville.  Viewing and visitation will begin at 12:00 followed by 1:00 pm. Service.  He will be laid to rest at Old Hill Cemetery in Lewisville.
