Sally Duffy, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully July 13th, leaving behind a rich legacy of love and compassion. Born in Escanaba, Michigan, to Axel and Loretta Norlin, Sally was raised alongside her cherished siblings John, Ronnie, and Sharon, who will forever remember her kindness and unwavering support.

Sally met the love of her life, Tom Duffy, while in college and Tom in the United States Air Force. Their bond blossomed into a beautiful marriage, and together they moved to Texas, where they lovingly raised their five children: Tricia, Brian (Wyatta), Mary (Mark), Michael (Heather), and Aaron (Khristen). Sally took immense pride in her family, nurturing them with boundless love and instilling in them strong Catholic values and beliefs.

Sally, a founder of the non-profit organization Christian Community Action (CCA) played a pivotal role in the establishment of CCA originating from a humble bible study in 1972. Her commitment to service extended into her professional life, where she successfully managed operations as the store manager for CCA's The Colony Resale, making a lasting impact in her community.

Sally was a proud grandmother to 23 grandchildren and eagerly anticipated the arrival of her first two great-grandchildren. Her grandchildren—Danielle and Dominique from Tricia's family; Sean, Joshua, Andrew, Devon, Cyleigh and  Elyssa from Brian's family; Nick, Megan, and Dylan from Mary's family; Simon, Sebastian, Isaac, Dominic, and Conrad from Michael's family; and Kiley, Luke, Elizabeth, Margaret, Catherine, Joseph, and Julia from Aaron's family— will forever carry her spirit in their hearts.

Sally's warmth, generosity, and selfless love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her family invites friends to celebrate her life at a burial Mass to be held for Sally and Tom at St. Philip Catholic Church, 5201 Cross Timbers, Flower Mound, Texas, on Monday, July 22, at 11 a.m. Mass will be preceded by a rosary at 10:20.
