Ruby Rae Allen
June 05, 1925 - February 20, 2024
Ruby Rae Allen, lovingly known as Rae, was born June 05 1925 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to John Curtis
and Alice Allen. She passed away peacefully in her home January 20th in Frisco, Texas at the age of 98.

Rae lived a full happy life and her sense of humor will always be remembered by those who met her.
She went to college at the University of Texas. She began working at UT Southwestern Medical in
1955. She studied Virology, doing research on viruses such as rabies and others. She did not retire until 1992.

She loved reading, music, traveling and the lake. Rae's partner was Claudine of 47 years. Rae's best
friend was Sue Tyrone, of 62 years. Rae gained another family almost 10 years ago with one her
caregivers, Diana Mendiola and her family. Raul Vega (her handsome) and all her grandchildren plus
her great grandchildren. Rae is preceded in death by her partner Claudine, her parents and her Uncle
Charlie. The Family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Hospice Archway and the home
health Unlimited Care of North Texas in Denton for their care.
