Ronald David Fisher

1968 – 2024

Ronald David Fisher went to his eternal home on February 13, 2024, from his home in Aledo, Texas.  David was born to Roger and Carol Fisher on November 30, 1968, at the Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas.

David attended public school in Lewisville, Texas and graduated from Lewisville High School in June 1987.  He participated in the band and was on the swim team.  After a brief time at the University of North Texas, he made the decision to join the United States Air Force.  He served four years, 1988-1992, with training and service as an avionics system specialist on the F-16 and B-1 serving in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm.  He received his Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in December of 2016.  He successfully moved through the employment ladder at Lockheed-Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth and was on the F-35 sustainment team.  He loved and excelled at his job.

David was a loving son and father.  He considered his three children his greatest treasure and blessing.  He loved sports, especially Texas Longhorn football and the Dallas Cowboys.  Using his smoker to cook meat was a hobby.   Sharing his "recipes" and techniques during meal fellowship with his family, friends and workmates was one of his favorite things to do.   He had a great sense of humor and could "talk your leg off."  He brought laughter and joy to his interactions.  He had the ability to relate to both the young and the older.  Many called him "friend."  The last picture taken of him was with his friends from Lockheed at what they referred to as "Pork Chop Friday."  He left all of us too soon.

David is survived by his children Allyson, Zoie, and Thomas; his parents Roger and Carol Fisher; his sister Amy Lynn Herrold and nephews Sam, Ben and John; and his ex-wife Wendy Fisher and stepson Nick Pallugna.
