In Loving Memory of Bob Smith

Robert "Bob" Edward Smith, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully on May 4th, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was 70 years old.

Born on October 12, 1953, in Rockville Centre, New York, to Richard Harold Smith and Kathryn Marie McGinley, Bob had a gift for making people laugh. Whether through his quick wit, humorous stories, or lighthearted demeanor, he brought smiles to countless faces and joy to every gathering.

He will be deeply missed and survived by his loving wife, Susan, his daughter Logan, her husband Jordan, and their two children Reagan and Kayden, his son Shane and his wife Thania, his brother Rick (Janet) Smith, Kathy (Kevin) Schamberger, Deb (Keith) Andree, and Tom (Kathy) Smith, along with countless nephews and nieces. Bob's kindness, humor, and unwavering love for all of those in his life left and incredible mark on all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 11, 2024, at 3:00pm at the La Canada Country Club. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to American Legion Post 377 or Hope for Firefighters.
