Robert "Bob" Lee Kelly, age 82, of Argyle, Texas, passed away April 20, 2026. He was born August 1, 1943, in Adrian, Michigan, to Marshall and Etta Kelly. Bob graduated high school in June of 1961 from Pueblo High School in Tucson, Arizona. He moved to California after high school where he worked for Algas Industries. He moved with the company to Texas in August of 1967 along with his boss Richard "Dick" Neptune. Shortly after moving to Texas he convinced someone to introduce him to the boss's daughter, Karen Neptune, and the rest was history. They were engaged after dating for one month, then married 2 months later (less than 2 months after Karen turned 18). Bob and Karen were married on December 23, 1967, in Farmers Branch, Texas. Bob retired from Medical City Lewisville in 2014 after 27 years of working in the engineering department.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, his son Sean Robert Kelly, and his brother Ronald Kelly.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Karen Kelly.  Also, by his daughter Brenda Kelly, his three grandchildren, Kayleigh Williams, Alexis Denison, and her husband David, and Landon Kelly, his two great-grandsons, Kody and Kaeden Denison. Also, he is survived by his two brothers, Marshall and Donald Kelly, and two sisters, Bobbie Nicholson and Patsy Derr.

Bob was a faithful servant of our Lord Jesus Christ and was a Deacon and member of The Church of God of Prophecy in Irving since 1979. Because of his faith, we know that he now has a new body and is praising God in Heaven with Sean, and other precious family members.

Funeral services will be held Friday May 1 at 1:00 p.m. at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville. The family will receive friends at 12:00 p.m., an hour before the service.
