Robert Anton Falkenberg, Jr.

Born July 4, 1928 as Robert Anton Falkenberg, Jr. those who knew and loved him called him Bobby, Dad and PaPa. At the age of 17, Bobby enlisted in the Merchant Marines and toured Italy and France. In 1945, he married Peggy Evelyn Thompson.  Peggy Thompson Falkenberg passed away in 1989. In 1991, Bobby married Annalyne Bosco.

In 1984, Bobby founded Falkenberg Construction which still operates today and recently celebrated 40 years in business.   In 1991, Bobby retired giving the business to his employees. His company is built on quality of work and honesty. These two qualities were Bobby's foundation of life.

Bobby is survived by his wife Annalyne Falkenberg, Daughter Virginia and husband Richard Schroeder, Stepson Brad Dorethy and wife Natalie, Sister Wanda Falkenberg Hobbs, Brother Charles Falkenberg and wife Wanda, Grandchildren Madison and husband Cole, Cade, Evan and Gianna, and many nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by Parents Robert Falkenberg, Sr. and wife Carrie Meine Falkenberg, first wife, Peggy Thompson Falkenberg of Vernon Texas, Sisters: Marie Shelton and husband DW Shelton, Elaine Boyles and husband Louis, Loretta Coonce and husband Albert, Dorothy Wellborn and husband Earl, and Brother-in-Law Norman Hobbs.

Known as a generous and compassionate man who loved Jesus, he will be greatly missed. His love for children extended into volunteering for many years in First Baptist Church of Denton preschool Sunday School Department. Donations in his honor may be made to First Denton Preschool Ministry, 1100 Malone Street, Denton, Texas 76201.

Bobby will be interred at Roselawn Cemetery. Services will be held at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home 740 S. Edmonds Lane, Lewisville, Texas 75067 on Monday February 19, 2024 at 11:30 am.
