Ricky Lynn Walls Sr.

Ricky Lynn Walls Sr. passed peacefully at his home on September 24, 2026. A quiet and gentle soul, Rick loved his Savior Jesus Christ, and served faithfully in his church, Liberty Baptist in Lewisville, Texas, for over 50 years. We are assured that he returned home to his Lord in Heaven, with many friends and family awaiting him.

Rick was born on June 28,1947 in McKinney, Texas to the late Claude L. Walls and Mildred Rosa (Metcalf) Walls. Growing up in Lewisville, Rick was a life-long Fighting Farmers fan. He married his high school sweetheart, Kathy, in 1965, celebrating their 61st anniversary in August. He worked for Boeing/Safran as a production associate for over 20 years before retiring.

He is survived by his wife Kathy, daughter Carrie (Mike) McCall of Lewisville, Texas, son Rick (Kim) Walls Jr. of Lewisville, Texas, granddaughters Rachel (Ryan) Blair of Eaton, Ohio, Maegan McCall of Lewisville, Texas, Ashley (Tim) Dunson of Denton, Texas, Bailey (Justin) Ullery of Lexington, Oklahoma; his brother, Larry (Meg) Walls of Quinlan, Texas and brothers and sisters in law, Bill (Kathy) Ridinger, Vickie (Doug) Hall, and Tammy Walls, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Charles and Henry Walls.

A memorial will be held October 17th at 11am, at Liberty Baptist Church, 602 Manco Rd, Lewisville TX. Interment will be in Collinsville Cemetery.
