Richard Herman Miller, 70, of Denton, TX passed away on Thursday, August 13th, 2026.

He was born on October 26, 1955 in Abington, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Robert and Florence Miller.

Richard served as a proud member of the U.S. Marine Corps for 4 years, achieving sergeant in under three years, before beginning his 44 year career at Black & Decker and DEWALT. Richard loved his family, spending time with his children and grandchildren, and riding Harley's. He was known for greeting everyone with a hug or a fist bump and would be the first to check in and ask how you're doing. Richard was a selfless man who believed in the good of others and lifting everyone up around him. His contagious laugh could be heard throughout the house, and his smile could brighten any room. Richard leaves behind an incredible legacy that will live on in all the lives he touched.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sharon Miller, of Denton, TX; four children, Michelle Page (Cody Fleming), Stacey Nuzzo (Ricky Nuzzo), Ryan Miller (Rebecca Miller), and Dana Burkhart (David Burkhart); four grandchildren, Riley Nuzzo, Sydney Nuzzo, Ryder Page, and Berkley Nuzzo; two brothers, Robert and David Miller; and countless friends and loved ones who will miss him dearly.

A Celebration of Life, honoring the life he lived, the many people he touched, and the lasting legacy of love he leaves behind, will be held on October 24, 2026. Burial services will take place on October 26, 2026 at DFW National Cemetery. More details to follow on Facebook.
