Richard went to be with the Lord on 7-27-2026. He was preceded in life by parents Allan & Barbara Elbert, sisters Nita Waldrum, Gala Bryant, and grandparents. He was survived by sister Sandra (Sam) Mackey, 2 Daughters Brandy & husband Shawn Ryan, & Mikki Elbert. 2 granddaughters Reannen & husband Zane Ryan & Haley Ryan, and great granddaughter Leonna Ryan.

He graduated from Lake Dallas High School in 1978. Rick was in construction and a truck driver most of his life. He had several Harleys throughout his life and enjoyed riding with friends and family. He enjoyed spending time at the lake with family and friends.
