On April 23, 2024, at the age of seventy-five, Philip Randall went to be with his Savior. Phil, as he was known to most, was born on November 23rd, 1948, in Memphis, Tennessee. The third of five children, he lived in Kansas and Oklahoma before settling in Texas in his youth.

Phil's first long term job was with GTE, where he began as a cable splicer, eventually working his way up into a supervisor position. He made many lifelong friendships working at GTE and always spoke fondly of his time with the company. Three years before taking early retirement from GTE, Phil started his own custom home building company. Until his death, he built beautiful custom homes and lead many residential and commercial construction projects throughout Texas. He also was the past President of Metro Crest Division of Home Builders Association.

Phil served on the Highland Village City Council from 1998-2002. During that time, he was the Deputy Mayor Pro Tem from 2000-2001 and Mayor Pro Tem from 2001-2002. Phil was proud of his service to the Lord through his church. He served on the church council at Living Word Lutheran Church and volunteered his time and talents to several remodeling projects at the church. He also served on the church council, call committees and building committees at previous churches.

Phil enjoyed boating, spending time with his family and friends, and had a great love of horses. He spent many happy years on family vacations at Lake Ouachita in Arkansas, which always held a special place in his heart.

Phil's legacy continues through his wife of 52 years, Sandy Randall; his daughter, Laura Dumke; son-in-law, Matthew Dumke; grandchildren, Ellie and Landon Dumke and his sisters Carolyn Wright and Mary McCalib. He is preceded in death by his mother, Lavonia Randall; his father, Harry Randall II; his brother Harry Randall III and his sister, Barbara Bradley.

A funeral service for Phil will be held at 1pm at Living Word Lutheran Church in Grapevine. A light lunch and fellowship will be held before the service at 11:30 AM. The interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.

A memorial fund has been set up at Living Word Lutheran Church.
