Penryn Creager Waldron Anderson, 83, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2024, in Justin, Texas. Penny was born in Hagerstown, Maryland on August 11, 1940, to Harry and Elizabeth Waldron. Penny was married to Carl Wayne Anderson who passed away in 2016.

Penny is survived by her daughter, Michele Boswell (Christie), her four grandchildren, and her stepchildren: Debbie L. Anderson Panik, Kathy L. Anderson Walters, Carl Wayne Anderson II, Trisha L. Anderson Burden, and Susan J. Anderson Broyles.

While she studied Montessori teaching methods in college, she never got a degree. She spent 8 years waitressing at a Chinese restaurant and spent many years as a laundress at the Dallas, Texas Temple.  She also dedicated her life to serving others, both at home and for her church. She was very devout.

Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 6th, 2024, at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, located at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.

An informal memorial service will be held at the Longmeadow Healthcare Center in Justin, Texas at 1:00p.m., on Tuesday, May 7th, 2024.
