Patti T. Nicholas, born on October 9, 1963, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, to Gerald and Carol Tomfohrde, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 27, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Patti lived her life with remarkable strength, kindness, and a deep devotion to her family. Her warmth and courageous spirit touched all who knew her. Patti faced every challenge with incredible resilience, and her legacy of love, perseverance, and determination will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.

Patti had a deep love for the Green Bay Packers, enjoyed cooking and baking, and had a special connection with animals. Her favorite days were spent in the sun and by the water, where she felt happiest and at peace.

She is preceded in death by her beloved father, Gerald Tomfohrde; her brother, Mitchell Tomfohrde; and her sister, Jennifer Pernsteiner.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Andre Nicholas; her devoted mother, Carol Tomfohrde; her sister, Cindy Lutz, and brother-in-law, Larry Lutz; her brother-in-law, Steve Pernsteiner; her children: Desiree and Michael, Nicholas and Mckenna, Dallas and Sydney, and Morgan and Anastasia. Patti was a proud and adoring grandmother to Peyton, Preston, Evelyn, Mason, Nolan, and Charlotte. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

Patti's family and friends will forever remember her for her compassion, strength, and the deep love she had for those closest to her. Her unwavering faith will remain a guiding light for all who loved her.

A funeral service for Patti will be held at Our Lady of Lebanon in Lewisville, TX, on Friday, May 2nd. The viewing will be at 3 pm, followed by the rosary at 4 pm, and Mass at 4:30 pm. A mercy meal will follow immediately after the service. There will be a private burial service for the immediate family to take her back home to Wisconsin.
