There are truly no words to describe THE Pat McCarrell, but there are a few that come to mind: Father, the best Uncle, Coach, Friend, Aggie, storyteller, inappropriate joke teller, and infamous offender. Anyone who knew him knew how much they were loved, even if it was tough love. Pat never met a stranger, and every person that crossed his path was forever changed, usually left laughing, and definitely a better person.

Pat is survived by his children, his Daughter Caitlin and her fiancé, Connor Johnson, his Daughter Caroline and her boyfriend Andre Verdaguer, his sons Tanner and Tucker McCarrell. He is also survived by his Mom, Faye McCarrell and step sister Michelle Upchurch. Dear cousin, TJ Frink-Kapkov and husband Renat and their children Katherine and Isaak. Father and Mother-in-law, Anthony and Carol McCurdy, Brother and sister-in-law Scott and Amanda McCurdy, and nephews, Tyler, Zach, and Daniel. His lifelong Best Friend, the closest thing to a brother anyone can have, Brent Staley. Pat is survived by many other relatives and friends…. And last, but certainly not least, his beloved companion, Rex.

Preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife Jennifer McCarrell. His Father Gary McCarrell, Grandparents Robbie and Gillie McCarrell, and Mother June Williams.

To honor Pat's memory, we are holding a celebration of life on Saturday, December 16th, 2023, at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home. We invite anyone who knew Pat to attend and remember his wonderful life. We ask attendees to honor Pat, in all the things that he loved, by wearing anything casual, but most importantly the TAMU Aggies, the Dallas Cowboys, the Dallas Stars, the Texas Rangers, Manchester United, or attire from any of the teams that he coached.

For anyone interested, we are adding time to the service for any memories, or words that want to be shared. Memorials may be made to Caitlin, Caroline, Tanner and Tucker, c/o Caitlin McCarrell. He will be deeply missed and will always hold a special place in our hearts. To end, one of the many cherished life lessons by Patrick McCarrell (there should be a book)…. "Don't suck!"
