Patricia Ann Revall, 82, of Denton, Texas, passed away quietly in her home on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.  She is the beloved mother of Tom Revall and Susan Hyde and the former wife of Daniel Revall, who preceded her in death in 2018.

Patricia was born April 18, 1941 in Milwaukee, WI. the daughter of Patrick and Anna Smith.  She and Dan lived in California initially but moved to Texas in 1968.  Pat raised her family in Lewisville.  She attended Texas Woman's University where she earned a degree in education, a path she followed with dedication for 25 years. Pat had her career in the LISD school system as an elementary school teacher at Central Elementary and Degan Elementary, a job she cherished believing that nurturing and teaching young children was her calling.  Her love of children extended to her grandchildren Kaitlyn and Garrett with whom she maintained a close relationship from their toddler years through high school.

Balancing the roles of wife, mother, teacher and grandparent gave Pat her greatest joy and satisfaction.  She was an accomplished seamstress and routinely made clothes for herself and her family. In later years she continued this skill by making clothing for African villages through St Paul's Patrons charity.

At home, Pat practiced her faith at Saint Ann's Catholic Church in Coppell, and St Philip's Catholic Church in Flower Mound. There she volunteered for church events and organized St. Paul's Patrons Widows holiday celebrations.  She was also a member of the Saint Ann's and Saint Philip's bible study classes and the women's social groups.

As an avid reader Pat enjoyed period novels and mysteries and was always at the Denton library seeking out the classics or best-sellers.  Pat's kindness was evident to all who knew her. Whether helping family or friends or meeting someone new, a gracious smile was always waiting. While her warmth was her charm, she was always ready for some light humor.  Pat was acknowledged as an educator during her teaching career, but her greatest achievement was her family.

Pat is preceded in death by her former husband Daniel Revall, parents Patrick and Anna Smith, brothers Michael and Dennis Smith.

Pat leaves behind her son and daughter-in-law Tom and Carol Revall from Connecticut, her daughter and son-in-law Susan and Russ Hyde from Corinth, her sisters Nancy Ryan in New York and Sharon Bartz in Pennsylvania and her grandchildren Ashley, Matthew, Emily, Kaitlyn, and Garrett.

Many thanks to Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, St. Ann's Catholic Church, Roselawn Memorial Park, and all who assisted in arrangements in helping Pat to her final resting place.  She will be missed by many but has left memories and inspiration for all who knew her.
