Owen Wayne Weber, 70, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2026.

Born on October 7, 1955, in Enid, Oklahoma, Owen was the son of Clarence Owen Weber and Grace Grantz Weber.  From an early age, he developed a love of learning, a strong work ethic, and a deep faith in Jesus Christ that guided him throughout his life.

Owen enjoyed a 42-year career as a software engineer, spending most of those years with IBM.  He was respected for his technical expertise, dedication, and commitment to excellence.

Most importantly, Owen was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ.  He loved studying Scripture and sharing biblical truth with others.  Combining his technical skills with his faith, he built and maintained a website devoted to Bible teaching, reflecting his desire to help others grow in their understanding of God's Word.  He also authored two books designed to help new believers understand foundational principles of the Christian faith.

Owen enjoyed yardwork, gardening, fishing, and maintaining his website.  He had a love for travel and enjoyed exploring many parts of the world, including India, China, Japan, England, Scotland, and Italy.  He especially treasured time with his family and six grandchildren who brought him great joy.

Those who knew Owen will remember his dry sense of humor.  He had a remarkable ability to find something funny in almost any situation, bringing laughter and encouragement to those around him.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Karen Weber; his son and daughter-in-law, Russ and Melinda Weber; his daughter and son-in-law, Kristen and Micah Blalock; his grandchildren, Evelyn Weber, Annabelle Weber, Levi Blalock, Noah Blalock, Joy Blalock, and Tré Blalock; and his sister, Clarissa Dobrinski.

Owen was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Owen Weber and Grace Grantz Weber; his older sister, Tessora Bierig; and his nephew, Shane Gauley.

Owen will be remembered for his steadfast faith in Jesus Christ, his devotion to his family, his sharp mind, and his witty humor.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A service celebrating Owen's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville, Texas.
