Olga "Marie" Velma Sharp, age 102, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. Born on August 4, 1923, in Detroit, Michigan, Marie was the beloved daughter of John and Catherine Klupacs.

Marie married Elven Clifford Sharp on January 20, 1942. They moved to Texas shortly after, making their home in Dallas. They were married 57 years until his death.

Marie lived a full and vibrant life, marked by her strength, humor, and competitive spirit. She loved playing pool and poker and was still winning shuffleboard tournaments at the age of 100.

A proud and active member of both the VFW and the American Legion, Marie cherished the friendships and camaraderie she found within her community.

She was preceded in death by her parents, nine siblings, and two sons, David Sharp and Richard Steven Sharp. She is survived by her children Elaine Campbell, Arlene Pritchett (Ferman), Patti Savage (David), Michael Sharp (Joyce) & Sandy Mendoza; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren & 6 great-great grandchildren.

Marie's competitive spark will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
