Nena Bryant Kinney, joined her son, Aaron DeGrand in heaven Sunday February 22nd. She was born in Lewisville May 25th, 1962 to Linda Hasten Bryant and Leland Bryant. A loyal daughter taking care of her elderly parents just about until the end. A loving sister to her brother, always there when he needed. A Beloved Mother to her two children, always involved and cheering them on in life. An adored grandmother by all her grandchildren, who knew if they asked Nene to be there, she would. A cherished woman who was an amazing soul. Through every stage of life she kept friendships that have remained after years. Friendships from old classmates, friends from every single job she has ever worked. Even friends of her son and daughter that came to love her. She lived in Lewisville until her move to "The Lakelot" in Hawkins for a slower pace of life. Diagnosed with Cancer 7 years ago she was a warrior until the end. Full of life and faith in God. She was received in Heaven by her son, Aaron Kyle DeGrand, her grandson Zachary Aaron Krohn, her mother Linda Hasten Bryant, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. She is survived by her father, Leland Bryant, her brother Charles Bryant and wife Michelle Bryant, her daughter Shanda Kinney Krohn and husband Dylan Krohn, granddaughters Autumn, Shelby and Kylee Krohn. Her niece Maggie Doisher and husband Jason and nephew Jacob Bryant and wife Kay. As well as many loved cousins, aunts and uncles.

Celebration of her life will be at Mulkey Mason on Edmonds Lane in Lewisville, Texas, Wednesday March 4th. Viewing at 10 am, followed by Service at 12 pm, then graveside at Old Hall Cemetery.  Please wear bright colors of pink, purple and sunset orange.
