Neil Christian Henriksen, beloved father, grandfather, brother, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2026, in Keller, Texas, at the age of 86. Neil was born on September 12, 1939, in Topeka, Kansas, where he grew up and attended Topeka High School. On April 22, 1960, he married his beloved wife, Maxine Elaine Henriksen. Together, they shared 66 years of marriage and built a life filled with family, hard work, laughter, and countless memories. That same year, Neil began attending Washburn University, where he earned his business degree. He was also a proud Master Mason, becoming a member of Golden Rule Lodge No. 90 in Topeka, Kansas, in 1962. After college, Neil began his career in sales with Xerox during the early boom of the copy machine industry. Years later, his entrepreneurial spirit led him into the printing industry, where he found a career that would span decades. In his later years, Neil owned and operated a successful print brokerage business, Print Solutions, specializing in providing Christian educational materials for homeschooling families. He continued working and growing his business for 30 years before retiring at the age of 82—a testament to his remarkable work ethic, dedication, and passion for what he did. Neil was a true forward thinker who was always willing to embrace new ideas, take on new challenges, and look toward the future. Beyond his accomplishments and entrepreneurial spirit, Neil was goofy, lighthearted, and had a wonderful sense of humor. He had a unique way of making people laugh and bringing joy to those around him. His determination, curiosity, and playful personality were all part of what made Neil so uniquely himself. Neil was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maxine Elaine Henriksen; his father, Christian Wusterskov Henriksen; and his mother, Marie Clark Henriksen. He is survived by his daughter, Victoria Anne Stalbird; his son, Benjamin Christian Henriksen (Holly Foley Henriksen); his granddaughter, Lauren Nicole Hein (Christian Alexander Hein); his grandson, Collin Christian Henriksen; his great-granddaughter, Miley Grace Hein; his sister, Maren Farr and her children, Neil's beloved nephews; and his brother, Bruce Henriksen (Saundra Henriksen). Neil will be remembered by his family and loved ones for the life he shared with them, the memories he created, his quick wit and sense of humor, and the lasting impact he had on those around him. His love, determination, forward-thinking spirit, and ability to make people laugh will continue to live on through his children, grandchildren, great-granddaughter, siblings, nephews, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. Services Neil's family will gather to honor and celebrate his life on September 5, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. A burial will follow the service at Flower Mound Cemetery. Following the burial, family and friends are invited to join together for dinner at Shoal Creek in Highland Village at 4:00 PM.
