Nancy Ann Broome was born in Ventura, California September 21, 1929, to Thomas and Zora Green. She passed away May 26, 2023 in Lewisville, Texas, after a long illness at the age of 93.

When she was 17, she moved to Bakersfield, California, and attended Bakersfield Junior College. There she met and married her husband of 54 years Bill Broome. She was active in Women's Club, Mother Singers, Keynotes and Bakersfield City Light Opera. She was a member of Daughter's of the King.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill, her sister Frankie Dietzman, her grandson, Brenden Peterson, and son-in-law's, Lloyd Gattenby and Steven Peterson. She is survived by her daughters, Kristin Peterson and Vicki Gattenby, of Flower Mound, Texas and son, Bill Broome and his wife Anne of Bakersfield, five grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Private interment will be held at Church of the Annunciation in Lewisville, Texas.
