Mollie Novella Rose Garcia, age 22, of Lewisville, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, July 15,
2025, due to an accidental overdose. Her passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of
her family and all who knew her.
Born on January 10, 2003, Mollie brought light and creativity into the world from an early age.
She found joy in the arts, playing the cello, guitar, and ukulele with soul and sensitivity, and
performing in theatre productions with boldness and grace. Mollie expressed herself through her
one-of-a-kind style, especially her love of platform shoes, which matched her vibrant spirit and
unique flair.
Mollie was passionate, witty, fiercely loving, and deeply empathetic. She carried both a sharp
sense of humor and a tender heart, often connecting with others in ways that made them feel
seen and understood. Her laughter, her music, and her courage to be herself will not be
forgotten.
She is survived by her devoted parents, Nick and Kerry Garcia; her beloved siblings Kenady,
Zoey, and Remy; and her cherished niece Lucy, for whom she had boundless affection. Mollie
was preceded in death by her brother, Gabriel Samuel Rodriquez. Mollie also leaves behind
many extended family members and friends who will miss her profoundly.
Mollie's life, though brief, touched many. Her family asks that in her memory, we hold space for
compassion, for those we love, for those who struggle, and for ourselves. If you or someone you

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Mulkey-Mason
Funeral Home in Lewisville, TX. Mollie's funeral will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 2:00
p.m., also at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, followed by a procession to Martin Oaks Cemetery
at 1230 Kingston Drive, Lewisville, TX, for interment. All who knew and loved her are welcome
to attend. To honor Mollie, please consider wearing pink and black to the service.
