Michael Shikle, a beloved resident of Lake Dallas, Texas, passed away from complications of a stroke on June 20, 2024, at the age of 47. Born on October 27, 1976, in Denver, Colorado, Michael was the cherished son of Margaret Ann Linenschmidtand Bobby Joe Shikle. His family later moved to Lake Dallas, where Michael spent his formative years and developed a deep-rooted passion for mechanics under the loving guidance of his father. This early interest blossomed into a lifelong profession Michael pursued with dedication and skill.
In June of 1999, Michael married Candi Beer, and together they built a family, welcoming three children: Skylar, Harley, and Jagger Shikle.
Later, in July of 2019, Michael found love again and married Caytlin Foster of Denton. Their marriage brought five more beautiful children into Michael's life: Presleigh, Piper, Porter, Shelby, and John Shikle.
Known for his willingness to help others, friends often spoke of his readiness to assist with any problem, usually through his mechanical expertise. Michael's heart was as big as his smile.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Caytlin Foster, his children: Skylar, Harley, Jagger, Presleigh, Piper, Porter, Shelby, and John Shikle. His parent, Bobby and Margaret Shikle.
He also leaves behind his siblings, Cody and Stephanie Shikle, and his beloved nephew, Connor.
Michael's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be deeply missed by his family, but his wild spirit and quirky smile will forever remain represented in his children.
