Michael Lee Rohr, 76, of St. Thomas, ND, passed away on June 6, 2025 in Corinth, Texas.  Michael was born on March 13th, 1949 in Alexandria, MN to Victor and Lucille Rohr.

He graduated from St Thomas High School.  He worked as a telegrapher for Great Northern Railroad and transitioned into a dispatcher for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad for the remainder of his career. He was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Army being awarded 16 air medals, 2 bronze stars, 2 army commendation medals, good conduct medal, and the Vietnam Service medal.

He married Lu Ann Kleinvachter on September 22, 1972 in Sauk Centre, MN. Michael was involved in St. Marks Catholic Church and was an avid fisherman along with camping and RVing.

Michael is preceded in death by Victor and Lucille Rohr (parents), Mark Rohr (brother), and Helen Kempkes (sister).  Michael is survived by his devoted wife Lu Ann Rohr, his three children son Eric Rohr, daughters Jennifer Wiederhold (Josh Wiederhold), and Nancy Pirkey (Jason Pirkey) and his cherished grandchildren Natalie Pirkey, Jacie Pirkey, Maeve Rohr, Philip Wiederhold, and Declan Rohr

Celebration of Life will be held 1pm at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home on July 12th 2025.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated to Disabled Veterans or The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).
