Michael Lee Myers, of Richmond Texas, passed away on Sunday January 28, 2024, surrounded by his family in Brookshire.

Born in Longview Texas on April 1, 1947, he lived in Delhi LA, Richmond VA, and South River NJ. He Graduated from South River High School in 1965. He was especially proud of being an Eagle Scout and being selected for the Order of the Arrow. He studied at Louisiana Tech prior to proudly serving in the US Army, with the 101st Airborne division. He was awarded the Bronze Star for meritorious Service in a combat zone in Vietnam. After his service in the United States Army, he continued his college education. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He resided in Midland, San Antonio, Houston, and Richmond Texas. He was a Communicant of the Church of Christ.

He enjoyed outdoor sportsmen activities especially hunting. His lifelong interest was in Automotive Engineering. He retired from a career as an Automobile Service Manager and Specialist with Ford, and Subaru.

He was predeceased by his Parents, Ralph & Ruth (Joiner) Myers of Midland Texas, his sister Melanie (Myers) Young, his sister Donna Marie (Myers) Gehner, and his nephew Brian Gehner.

Mike is survived by His loving wife JoAnn (Wood) Myers; his 3 children, Christopher, Michelle, Stephanie & her husband Jason Frizzell, Mike is also survived by his sister Belva (Myers) Grossweiler. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on March 1st at 1:00 PM at the Mulkey Mason Funeral Home, 740 S Edmonds Ln, Lewisville TX. The internment will follow at the DFW National Cemetery at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Arlington, TX.
