Mary Thacker was born on June 12, 1929, in Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia. She passed away peacefully at her home in Flower Mound on July 12, 2024, at the age of 95.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late Irvin ("Red") Thacker. She was a devoted mother to her three children:

Stan, Terry Ann, and Sara. Her legacy continues through her four grandchildren: Christine, Jessica, Tara, and Justin. She will also be

remembered through her seven great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

Mary's life was marked by her passion for teaching and quality time with her sisters and family. She will be dearly missed by all of those who knew her.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate her life at 11am on August 10th at First United Methodist Church in Lewisville, Texas (907 W. Main Street). In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Mary's memory.
