Mary Margaret King (Stanphill), aged 79, passed away peacefully on April 1st, 2026, in Flower Mound, Texas. Born on April 6th, 1946, in Bagwell, Texas, Mary Margaret lived a life filled with love, dedication, and an adventurous spirit.

A proud graduate of North Dallas High School's Class of 1964, she then went on to gain her associates degree in engineering. Mary Margaret embarked on a remarkable career spanning 45 years at Square D Electric in Dallas, Texas. Her strong work ethic and unwavering commitment were hallmarks of her professional life. However, it was her roles as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother that brought her the deepest fulfillment. She cherished her family above all else and took immense pride in nurturing those she loved.

Mary Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles King; her parents, John and Ruth Stanphill; her brother, Thomas Irvin Stanphill; her sister, Betty Jo Stevens; and her brother-in-law, Steve Haskell. She is survived by her devoted daughter Dawn Reed and son-in-law Nick Reed; her grandchildren Harlee Smith (Garret) and Chad Reed (Lindsey); and her great-granddaughter Ellie Kate Reed. She also leaves behind her siblings John Stanphill (Ursula), Lula Akins (Jerry), and Peggy Haskell, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her warmth and kindness.

Mary Margaret's legacy is one of kindness, spunk, and adventure. Those who knew her will forever treasure the memories of her vibrant personality and the love she so generously shared.
