Mary Nell Dykes passed away peacefully on February 9th, 2024. She was born on September 11th, 1929 in Quitman, Texas.

Mary lived a full life and was a quick friend to everyone she met. Her sense of humor will be remembered by all who met her.  When she wasn't enjoying time with friends or family she was likely singing and dancing to country music.  She also loved football and rooting for her Dallas Cowboys and Fighting Texas Aggies.   Mary had a 20- year career with the Arlington ISD as an Administrative Assistant.

She is preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Jewell Puckett. Her first husband Gerald Turner and her husband of 39 years Jack Dykes.

She is survived by her children Brent Turner and his wife Colleen, Beverly Latta, Greg Dykes and his wife Nancy.   Her grandchildren Shannon Phillips and her husband Justin, Jacy Way and her husband Matt, Brianna Dykes, Dean Latta, Greg Latta and 3 great grandchildren.

A graveside Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Mineola, Texas.

The family would like to thank Christina, the Staff at Lewisville Estates, and her nurse Kim for their wonderful care of Mary the last few years. They would also like to the thank the nurses with Silver Stone Hospice Care.
