Martha "Marti" Jane Ross
5 July 1949 - 2 May 2024

Marti passed away peacefully at her home in Lewisville, TX. on 2 May 2024.

She was born in Goodman, Missouri to Dewey W. and Maranatha H. Lair.  Marti grew up in Northeastern Arkansas and graduated from Willieford High School in Arkansas in 1967.  She later moved to Lewisville, TX in the 80's. She attended a couple of years at DeVry University and had a passion for computer programming.  She met Robert Ross in the late 80's and they were later married on May 15, 1992. She worked for Verizon for 9 years as a sales coordinator for the Yellow Pages in the customer service department and retired upon a stroke in 2010.  She loved making homemade soaps, country dancing, read mystery novels and working with plastic canvas.

Marti is survived by her husband, Robert Ross; 2 sons, Richard Baldridge, and Christopher Ross; a daughter-in-law, Christin Ross and grandson Cayden Ross.  She has 6 other grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  She was one of 11 children and survived by 3: John Lair, Sharon Stockdale and Becky.

There will be a service, to be held at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home, 740 S. Edmonds Ln., Lewisville, TX. Wednesday, May 22, 2024, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation for Robert to gift the nurse and aide, Sandra and Carolyn who helped Robert take care of her in the last 5 months of her life.
