Marshall Durham died of natural causes on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at the age of 91. Marshall is survived by his children, Marshan Durham Naragon, Rody Durham (and wife, Dixie), Rory Durham (and wife, Debbie) and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his wife Sue Ann, son, Rudy Durham, grandson, Christian Durham, his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Born April 8, 1933, Marshall grew up in North Texas and graduated from Lewisville High School in 1951. He graduated from North Texas State University with his bachelors and masters degrees and began his 45-year career with Lewisville ISD.

He began his career as a teacher and coach.  Eventually he became a middle school principal and then an assistant superintendent.  He was inducted into the Lewisville High School Hall of Fame in the inaugural year, 1988.

The family will host a visitation on Sunday, August 4 from 3-5 p.m. at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home (740 S. Edmonds Lane in Lewisville), followed by a funeral on Monday, August 5 at 10:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church (1002 Fox Avenue in Lewisville).
