On December 30,2024 Heaven earned another angel, our mother, Marlene Hartwell peacefully departed this world. Marlene Hartwell was married to Larry Hartwell for 18 years until his passing in 1990.

Marlene was preceded in death by her husband Larry Hartwell, parents Lawrence and Esther Stone, and brother Larry Stone. She is survived by her son Larry, daughter Wendy and husband Jeff Selke, and nephew Larry (Christine) Gorski.

Grandma Marlene was also survived by her grandchildren Jake Harmsen and wife Ellie Harmsen and Ashley Selke. Can't forget, the grand-puppies Sky and Stella.

Anyone and everyone can definitely say she was a unique soul and would go to the ends of the earth for her family. She pulled no punches and lived life on her terms. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will take place in June 2025 in MI for remembrance.
