Mark Dennis Howell, Sr., lovingly known as "Big Mark," "G-Paw," and "Pawran ," was born on April 2, 1959, in Greenwood, Mississippi. He passed away on August 1, 2026, in Lewisville, Texas.

Mark was a man of deep faith, honor, and truth. He was known for his sense of humor, his playful teasing, and his ability to bring laughter to those around him. He never took much in life too seriously—except God. An animal lover and a man deeply loved by many, Mark leaves behind a legacy of faith, honesty, laughter, and love.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his infant son, and many other beloved relatives.

He is survived by his children, Mark Howell, Jr. and his wife, Heather; Brandy Howell; Dustin Howell; and Ashley Howell; his brother, Terry Howell and his wife, Coye , and their children; as well as many other siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and loved ones.

Mark will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him

Funeral Services will be held at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home on August 7,2026.  His visitation will be at 12pm and funeral service at 1pm in the Chapel.  He will be laid to rest in Old Hall Cemetery, but there will be no public graveside service
