Mario Zachary Huerta was born on October 3, 1987 and was greeted by our Lord and Savior on July 22, 2026. Zach was born in Carrollton, Texas to Mario Huerta & Patricia " Patti" Hammons.

As a child Zach had such a free spirit and loved to visit the botanical gardens. Zach had a passion for many things in life such as playing Nintendo, skateboarding but most importantly he loved the Simpsons - that's one show he would never miss!

He had a special place in his heart for animals, even the tiniest insect. He had a special way of making a stranger feel as they were family. He wanted everyone to feel welcomed and to have a good time. Zach was known as a jokester, even liked to think of himself as FONny lol - inside joke. Zach loved cheese pizza, cooking for everyone, and he always knew the best movies to watch. He loved playing his guitars and it was a passion that we are sure he would have mastered.

Zack loved hard and deep for his family but, his love for his mom was undeniable. He strived everyday to make her proud.

Zach is survived by his mom Patricia "Patti" Hammons, his father and second mom, Mario Huerta and Maria (Isabel) Huerta. His Best friend whom he considered his brother Jeremy McCormick. His siblings Richard,  Amanda, Miranda, Deysi, Alexis and spouse Mosha, Mayito, and David. His nieces and nephews Brandon, Jennifer, Natalie, Lucy, Za'Riaha, Nathaniel, and Ariel. His abuelita Toña, Bernice, Lisa and his Tia and Tios with many cousins.

Zach is proceeded in death by his partner Susan Schmidt. His 3 grandfathers Billy Hammons, Rafael Huerta, and Stan Campbell. His Tios, Rafa & Ramiro Huerta- Ruiz. His best friends Craig Watson and Kayce Manning.

Zach had a love for life and would do anything he could to make sure everyone felt his love. Zach wouldn't want anyone to be sad but rejoice that he is free. When you are feeling sad and missing Zach and need a smile always remember the famous phrase from non other than Homer Simpson - "DOOOOOH"
