Lori Maxine Cairns Herron was born on January 14, 1934 in Fairfax, Oklahoma to James and Jatta Clifton.  Lori went to be with the Lord on September 23, 2024 in Lewisville, Texas.

She moved to California in 1942 with her family and grew up on a farm in the Central Valley. She attended Washington Union High School in Easton, where she was a majorette with the Washington Union Band, as well as a May Day Queen attendant in her freshman year. She retired from the AT&T telephone company after 25 years as a supervisor, as well as owning and running three health food stores in Fresno and Sanger, California.

She attended Riverpark Bible Church for many years and loved the Lord with all her heart. She was very involved with her Sunday School Class where she made many dear friends. She loved to play tennis, dance, read books and play card games.  Her favorite card game was called "Six" and she played it every chance she got with family and friends over many years.

Lori loved her family unconditionally, so much so that she even moved to Texas this year to be closer to her grandchildren and great grandchild. We all love her very, very much and will miss her deeply. But we know this life is only temporary and we will all be together again in Heaven with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She is preceded in death by her husband James S. Cairns who she was married to for over 60 years. Lori was also blessed to have found love again, and married Richard Herron in her later years, who preceded her in death as well.  Lori had two brothers and two sisters, who preceded her in death also.

Lori is survived by her son James Cairns and his wife Griselda, her daughter Tracy Kast and her husband Kevin, grandchildren Jordan Kast and his wife Alexandra, Erin Kast, Jamie Morita and her husband Chris and great grandchild Daniel Kast.
