Obituary

In Loving Memory of Linda Seagraves

Linda M. Seagraves, 68, of Lewisville, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2026. She was a devoted daughter, beloved sister, loving wife, wonderful mother, cherished grandmother, and dear friend. Linda was a kind and caring soul who always put others before herself. Her warm heart, generous spirit, and genuine kindness touched everyone she met. She had a special way of making people feel loved and welcomed, and she will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Linda was born on December 1, 1957, in South Bend, Indiana, to George and Mary Visocky. After graduating from high school, she moved to Texas, where she eventually met her husband, Ted. Together, they built a life centered on love, family, friendship, and caring for others. Throughout their 44 years of marriage, they created a lifetime of memories and raised a beautiful family.

Linda is survived by her husband, Ted Seagraves of Lewisville, Texas; and their three children: Matt Seagraves of McKinney, Texas; Megan (Steve) Kirby of Krugerville, Texas; and Melanie (Bryce) McWhorter of Decatur, Texas.

Her greatest joy was being Grandma to her six grandchildren, Hudson, Nolan, Tenley Grace, Branson, Kennedy, and Addison, who brought immeasurable happiness and meaning to her life. She treasured every moment spent with them and will be deeply missed by each of them.

She is also survived by her sisters, Janet (Pat) Shannon and Theresa Visocky, both of Osceola, Indiana; and her nephews, Ben (Erica) Visocky and their children, Noah, Elijah, Joshua, and Anstice, of Huntertown, Indiana; and Matt (Courtney) Visocky and their children, Kyrstin, Ethan, Nolan, Thorin, and Duncan, of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, George A. Visocky; her mother, Mary Visocky; and her brother, George M. Visocky. She is now reunited with them.

Throughout her professional career, Linda dedicated 42 years of service to Allstate before retiring in 2019. Her dedication, loyalty, and commitment to her work and colleagues reflected the same values she carried throughout every aspect of her life. She took pride in what she did and built lasting relationships with those she worked alongside.

Outside of work, Linda treasured the simple things that meant the most. She loved spending time with family and friends, watching movies, sharing laughter, and, above all, watching her grandchildren grow. These moments were among her greatest joys, and the memories she created with those she loved will be treasured forever.

Linda's life was defined not by what she received, but by what she gave to others. Her kindness, compassion, selflessness, and unconditional love were evident in everything she did. She made a lasting difference in the lives of those around her, and her legacy will live on through her family, friends, and everyone whose life she touched.

Though she will be deeply missed, the love she shared, the memories she created, and the example she set will never be forgotten.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 740 Edmonds Lane, Lewisville, Texas. Friends are invited to visit with the family beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Forever loved, forever missed, and forever in our hearts.
