Linda Dotson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 27, 1962, in Amherst, Wisconsin, Linda was the cherished daughter of Eugene and Shirley Burzinski.

Linda was the youngest of two girls and graduated from Amherst High School. She furthered her education at Kaplan University, where she pursued her passion for learning and earned a Bachelor of Science degree.

In 1982, Linda crossed paths with the love of her life, James Dotson, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. They were united in marriage on October 9, 1999, and their love endured for over 40 beautiful years. Linda and James were not only spouses but also each other's lifelong partners, best friends, and soulmates.

Professionally, Linda dedicated over eight years of her life as a customer service manager at Carlisle HVAC Brands, where her dedication and warmth left a lasting impact on colleagues and customers alike.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Linda found immense joy in spending time with her family and furry companions. She adored attending car shows with James, caring for her beloved dogs Torquer and Little Girl, and creating beautiful gardens. Music held a special place in Linda's heart, providing comfort and solace throughout her life.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Shirley Burzinski, stepmother Gretchen Burzinski, and stepsister Julie Warner-Hundt. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever be treasured by those who knew her.

Linda is survived by her devoted husband, James Dotson; loving child, Don Dotson (Elva); adored grandsons, Bryson Dotson and Devin Dotson (Megan); caring mother-in-law, Leona Franklin; supportive brothers-in-law, Curtis Franklin (Dawna) and Doyle Franklin (Jennifer); dear sister, Cynthia Burzinski; and beloved niece, Sarah Rivera, and nephew, Timothy Rivera. She also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends who were deeply touched by her kindness, compassion, and love.

Linda's light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she loved and touched. May she rest in eternal peace.
