Linda Bryant beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, cousin, aunt and friend passed January 14th at 12:15 in the afternoon. She was surrounded by her husband, children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, C.O. and Helen Hasten, her brother Tim Hasten, her grandson Aaron DeGrand and Great Grandson Zachary Krohn. She is survived by her Husband, Leland Bryant, her brother Carroll Hasten and his wife Deanna, son Charles Bryant and his wife Michelle Maccaroni, daughter Nena Kinney, granddaughter Shanda Krohn and husband Dylan, granddaughter Maggie Doisher and husband Jason, Grandson Jacob Bryant and wife Kay, great grandchildren Autumn, Shelby and Kylee Krohn, Jaxson and Presley Doisher, and Theodore and Nicholas Bryant.

Linda was born on November 28th, 1940, to C.O (Carvis Odell) and Helen Hasten in Lewisville, TX. A majorette at Lewisville High School, she married Leland Bryant February 13, 1958. They lived on Mill Street in Lewisville their whole marriage until retiring to their beloved lake lot in Hawkins. Linda was an accomplished homemaker who always had a hot skillet and pitcher of sweet tea ready for anyone who came through the back door. She was an amazing woman who made the kitchen the heartbeat of her home where many family meals and memories were had. Linda was beloved by many of the children of LISD when she was a cafeteria manager. No child went hungry in her cafeteria. The same could be said for the many stray animals she adopted and the hungry she fed over the years. Linda was known for her kind heart, sharp wit and love of the casino. On any day in the spring or summer she could be found in the garden picking okra or swinging on the porch whistling away. A woman of faith she walked beside Jesus as she made sure no living being in her realm went hungry. She was a safe spot for a meal for the many homeless who found kindness at her door. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Viewing will be held at Mulkey Mason Funeral home on Edmonds Lane in Lewisville, Texas on Friday, January 23rd at 11 am. Service will follow with grave side at Old Hall.
